CCTV

The Club has installed CCTV to cover areas used by Members and by Staff. The main uses of the CCTV record include timekeeping, estate management, access verification and compliance with the Hertsmere Borough’s Club Premises Certificate or our ‘Licence’.

The record of video in the CCTV could represent the data of your use of the Club. The Club Secretary and the Membership Secretary/Chairman are the two officials who maintain and have access to CCTV information, which is eventually overwritten. The CCTV system is password protected and not presently connected to line, so cannot be remotely accessed.

Security 

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information, that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the Web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, membership renewals) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
